• DMA reported year to date collections for Medicaid is $564,790.71. Counties collected $148,833.74 for period of 8/27/03 through 9/24/03.

• The top 5 collecting counties so far this fiscal year are Wake, Pitt, Dare, Lee, and Rockingham Counties.

• The top 5 collecting counties during September were Dare, Wilkes, Mecklenburg, Alamance, and Lee.

• The total collections for September were:

       AFDC---$15,344.56 TANF---$292,295.75

       FS--- $292,295.75

 

• Request for Co-Chairs for SIAC due to Paul Burge will be retiring in December 2003 and Jane Kimsey not able to serve.

• Request that retired directors may possibly be able to serve as Co-Chairs. Both Paul Burge and Larry Moore stated they would be willing to continue to serve as Co-Chairs on this committee.
