Issue Summary:
Due to both co-chairpersons absent
from meeting, the group will bring suggestions inwriting for the long/short term goals for
the committee at the November meeting. Allgoals need to be written
within the guidelines of the Directors’ Association and NCSSA.
The voting members were recognized and the others were encouraged to have their statusas voting members done by the November meeting.

General Information for Dissemination:
EPICS workgroup recommended SIAC vote on the recommendations for the EPICS reports. The recommendations were voted upon as written, with the exception of report FRD-421 and FRD-425. These will need to be addressed at a later meeting due to problems the workgroup could not address. Training for Medicaid profiles has been completed. Four more counties were approved for the Food Stamp Threshold Plan.
Collections for September 2002:
All stores that are WIC authorized will now have to authorized for Food Stamps also.
