QUESTIONS FROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS TO DMA:
Q Any news about MQB-E cases?
A - DMA letter has been drafted but have to talk with Barbara first. Probably will do something by September 15, 2003
Q NCHC case is authorized in error, how can this be fixed in Health Choice system?
A Fixing NCHC errors is tied into BCBS billing system and it is a long process. The easiest mistake to fix is an address mistake.
Q Any plan to freeze CAP-DA?
A - Marjorie had not heard of anything freezing CAP-DA.

Children & Family Services: No representative.
Jackie Franklin unable to attend to speak about Special Assistance material. The question was asked about the changes in Adult Services. Jane Swartz stated she had been a part of a conference call and was told at that point that John Tanner would be over Adult Services. John Tanner will be under the Division of Aging.

Voted to approve Work First Policy sections 111 and 114. Voted to remove section 113 and to move material concerning two parents to section 119.
Voted to approve Energy Manual Sections 200, 300, 310, 420, 440, 700, 800 effective September 1, 2003.
Voted to approve Food Stamp Sections 225-05, 225-06 effective October 1, 2003.
Voted to approve Food Stamp Mass Change Sections 280 and 285.
Voted to Approve Medicaid ABD changes in sections 2270 and 2280 effective October 1, 2003.
Joe Knott will serve as co-chair of Medicaid sub-committee.
