General Information for
Dissemination:
- Committee discussed need for effective Public
Relations Campaign. Debbie Crane and Lois Neilson gave advice on how to proceed
and offered assistance in effort.
- Committee met and agreed with State Office that
the mandate Report to the Legislature will include only items requested and
would not include ranking of Performance for individual Counties. Productivity
Report will continue to be provided to the Counties for their use.
- Patricia Holcombe reported on an appeals Court
ruling involving the issue of paternity in a TPR case. Jerry Robbins from
Attorney’s General Office stated he had been in Contact with the State Attorney for
Child Welfare and thought the issue could be resolved
- Discussed problems relating to the reporting
of distribution in Foster Care cases. State
Child Support and Counties experiencing problems will work on issue and make
recommendations.
