Discussion: Consumer Contribution Policy – Nancy Warren |
Ms. Warren stated that the policy emailed was the same policy that we had reviewed last month. It has been formatted |
differently. The Children's Services Committee approved the policy in December. The rules are to be presented to |
the Social Services Commission this week. Plans are for the new policy to be effective July 1, 2005. Ms. Warren also |
reported that the APS Task Force is in the process of finalizing drafts for tools and asking for counties to pilot the tools. The Task Force will be expanding to include more stakeholders. Ms. Warren also informed the committee that a new guardianship consultant has been hired. Kate Walton will begin work on 1/20/05. She also reported that work was progressing on a combined transportation policy manual. A meeting is planned for 3/10/05, to gather those who will be affected by the new policy to get input. She suggested that DSSs send staff knowledgeable in the areas of adult services and transportation. |
