Advocacy Committee Highlights
October 8, 2003
The Committee continued its focus on the NCACDSS Response to Child Welfare Articles “What’s Needed” by working to develop Talking Points. The Talking Points will provide further information and clarification of the “What’s Needed” list (the priorities earlier established in response to the Charlotte Observer articles on child deaths). The Talking Points were not completed but work will continue with completion within the next two weeks. This is essential prior to the first House Interim Committee meeting.
