Child Welfare Interim Committe - November 2003

Please remember to mark your calendar for November 5th and 6th for the House Interim Committee on Child Abuse, Neglect, Foster Care and Adoption.

Directors - Staff - Board Members: Please make an effort to come if possible - we really need to have a county DSS presence at this meeting.

The committee will meet:

November 5th 1:00 Room 1027 / 1128 Legislative Building

November 6th  9:00 Room 1027 / 1128 Legislative Building

We were able to secure time on the agenda for a DSS Director to speak at the first meeting to give the county CPS perspective to committee members. Susan Osborne (Director, Alamance County)  will be walking the members through a CPS case to help them get a real life perspective of the process.
