Child Welfare Interim Committee - January 2004

The House Child Welfare Interim Committee has scheduled the next committee meetings for:
Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. & Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 9:00 a.m.

Location: Room 544, Legislative Office Building

The tentative agenda so far is:

NC Fast - Lanier Cansler

Joanne Lambe - update on State criminal records checks

John Aldridge (NC DOJ) - background on federal criminal records checks-- local law enforcement, SBI, DSS - re: how law enforcement agencies work with DSS in criminal abuse/neglect cases



The rest of the agenda will be developed over the next two weeks. It is important that County DSS remain a strong presence in the room whenever they meet to work in this committee so be sure to mark your calendar and come if at all possible!!
